The Gevgelija-Strumica Region in the Republic of North Macedonia faces challenges of maintaining and achieving higher development of rural regions that requires a multi stakeholder approach in policy development and policy execution. The evaluation report is divided in two chapters. The first chapter is dedicated to description of the policy measure background in terms of its primary initiation and main objectives.

Representatives from Green Growth Platform, Natasha Ristovska participated on the Ploutos Project Meeting 14-15 September 2021.
Ploutos partners came together in online interactive sessions dedicated on application of the Sustainable Innovation Framework in SIPs, understanding different types of Behavior innovations, using Collaborative Business Model approaches, and designing innovative Data Driven Technological tools.
Follow Ploutos H2020 Project and learn more about 11 Pilots focused on implementation and co-design of sustainable innovative approaches along the agri food sector, thus rebalancing the agri food value chain and providing transformation that encompasses social, economic and environmental benefits.
GGP participated in the 6th Polirural H2020 project meeting. WP leaders presented results, tasks situations and activities planned for the next months.
Advisory Board members and partners were interactively involved in discussions about relevant project topics.
GGP participated in the Foresight System Dynamics Modeling Summit within PoliRural project on the 2nd of September 2021. SDM data collection, baseline models and results were discussed, as well as the next steps for SDM Experiment design. The future steps in designing and using SDM web tool and performing the Ex-Ante Evaluation process were also presented.
Green Growth Platform together with our partner Agfutura Technologii performed a Drivers Analysis for NMK. We have identified the Key drivers influencing change in rural areas relevant for the pilot region Strumica-Gevgelija, confirmed with stakeholders, categorized in groups according to the STEEPV model.

On the 8th of July, Gevgelija-Strumica Pilot as a part of Polirural H2020 Project organized an online meeting with key regional stakeholders.
Polirural Newsletter 8 is now available, and it contains the latest information of the Project, including latest activities and findings from PoliRural pilots, level of stakeholder engagement already obtained in the project, results from PoliRural third Foresight Summit and more!
Polirural team gathered for the fifth online periodic technical project meeting. Partners presented results and status of different project tasks and activities.
GGP participated in the virtual meet-up of the Cities2030 Labs as partner in the Cities2030 H2020 project. This meeting enabled sharing experiences, connecting, better understanding of specific labs objectives and discussing next steps of CRFS Labs.
